ProCoreFitness is excited to announce a partnership with Amandala Yoga!
Amanda is a single mother of two amazing children. She is also a certified yoga teacher for both adults and children. She found her passion for yoga when going through a rough time in her life, and like so many others that practice, she learned that everything you are searching for is already within you; you just need to slow down long enough to listen, there is no need to search outside of yourself.
She discovered soon after she began teaching that this applies not only to adults, but to children of all ages as well. It seems that the older we get, the more layers and walls we build up around ourselves. So even young children need to learn to maintain that connection to their inner selves as they grow older.
Amanda teaches from the heart, with a focus on alignment and playfulness. She believes that a yoga practice should help one release the layers of ego that may keep one from finding a more authentic place internally, while also cultivating strength in the body to calm the mind. Amanda teaches her students to work with the breath, the movement of their bodies, and how to let go of incessant thoughts, opening a path to healing and inner strength.
